Ali Bierman is the mother of
two adult children. As a stay-at-home mom she raised her kids to be
responsible, self-reliant, and caring individuals with high self
esteem. Her son and daughter are successful performers who live in
Manhattan and work all over the world.
In addition to
mothering her own children, her experience includes fifteen years of
working with students in the schools as both a volunteer and a
substitute teacher. She also enjoyed five years coaching youth soccer.
Her professional life, as a counselor in a homeless shelter and a
psychotherapist working in crisis care, gave her further insight into
creating relationships with people of all ages. Her gift continues to
be assisting people in uncovering their strengths and talents, the
things that make them special and an important part of the community of
man. Her relationship skills proved to be an asset when working as a
Specialized Kinesiologist. Her clients left her feeling better both
physically and emotionally, sometimes for the first time in 40 years!
Ms.
Bierman is listed in more than one half dozen Who’s Who books including
Who’s Who In Educators and Who’s Who In Alternative Healthcare. A
multi-talented woman, she is an artist, composer and performer as well
as a skilled chef who can take any recipe and re-create it from
“good-for-you” ingredients. She believes that all creatures are at once
both teacher and student in every encounter. So whether it is the
exchange of a smile between two people passing or a stadium filled with
people everyone has something to contribute and everyone has something
to learn. For Ms. Bierman the world is one infinitely big Learning
Circle, hence the name of her company The Learning Circle, LLC.
This
work reflects Ms. Bierman’s powerful conviction that all people deserve
to be happy and healthy. When people feel good about themselves they
take an active role in their families and communities. Since no man is
an island onto himself, everyone benefits from healthy social
interaction. Can there be a gift greater than freeing one to be whoever
they want to be in life?
